What that means in practice

The booking links and availability widgets here go to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. If you book after clicking one, GetYourGuide pays me a percentage of what you paid. You pay exactly what you would have paid going to GetYourGuide yourself. Nothing is marked up for arriving through this site, and no price on this site is a price I set.

What it does not change

The awkward facts stay in. Three of the eight products I link to do not include the ferry crossing, which makes them considerably dearer than they look, and I say so on every page they appear on. One has a review sample small enough that I would not lean on its rating. The ferry ticket sold through the affiliate link is priced at exactly the operator’s own published on-peak return, so there is no saving in buying it that way, and I say that on its review too. A commission that depended on hiding any of that would not be worth having.

Where the cheapest option is not a bookable link at all — the off-peak return, which you buy direct from the operator — that is what the fare page tells you to do. I earn nothing on it.
